Jacques Putzeys has been active as an adviser and Board member of technology companies that he actively helped to prepare for an IPO and this over the last 17 years. He is the Chairman and founder of the Inclusive Growth Forum.
Jacques started his career in 1973 as an auditor at KPMG, after graduating from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
In 1976, he joined CGER Bank (now BNP Paribas Fortis) respectively as controller of more than 230 retail branches and as a manager in the international department working on the commercial paper program and the business plan of the London and New York branches. In 1989, he moved to New York to create the fully licensed branch of the Bank and was its CEO for five years.
Jacques became President of Banque Nagelmaeckers, a Belgian private bank, after organizing its take-over in 1994. He co-founded EASDAQ (later NASDAQ EUROPE), obtained regulatory approval and became its CEO and President of the Market Authority.
He was a Board member of Conporec and H2O Innovation two Canadian listed companies and of Theolia (a French wind energy company) amongst others.
